DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE POLICY
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Policy to promote the participation of disadvantaged business enterprises in all areas of RFTA contracting to the maximum extent practicable. Click the button below to read RFTA DBE Program Policy Statement.
To become certified, your business must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be at least 51 percent owned by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s) who also controls the firm.
- The disadvantaged owner must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident of the United States.
- Must be a small business that meets the Small Business Administration’s size standard and does not exceed $23.98 million in gross annual receipts.
- Must be organized as a for-profit business.
